Dragon Age 2Dragon Age 2 continues the adventure with a new hero, Hawke, and utilizes the choices made by the player to affect a story that spans ten years worth of time in-game. The story in Dragon Age 2 is unique as an RPG story because, while it is certainly high fantasy, it doesn't begin with the tried-and true premise of "you're the chosen one, and the whole world wests upon your shoulders" that many high fantasy game fall into. Instead, you play as Hawk, a pretty regular guy whose home city is decimated by the fifth Blight - The Blight is the name for the period in which an army of demon-like creatures called Darkspawn come to the surface led by an Archdemon to destroy the land. Forced to fight for survival, you gathered the deadliest of allies, amassed fame and fortune and sealed your place in history, eventually becoming in effect a legend in your own time.
